If you live in Austin or the surrounding Hill Country, you can work with our Texas-licensed therapists and medication providers by secure video, without ever making the drive.
A Sugar Land practice, by video in Austin
Our office is in Sugar Land, near Houston. For Austin clients, every appointment is by telehealth. Our clinicians are licensed in Texas, so you can meet with them from anywhere in the state, as long as you are physically in Texas at the time of each session.
Why Austin clients look outside Austin
Some people want more choice than their nearest options offer, some want a clinician in a specific language, and some simply want an appointment in the evening or on a weekend. A group practice with many clinicians gives you room to find the right fit.

Austin questions
Can I travel out of state and keep my session?
Only if you are in Texas at the time of the session. Ask your clinician to reschedule if you will be away.
Will my insurance cover telehealth?
Each clinician's profile lists the plans they accept, and telehealth follows the same rules. Medication management is private pay.
Is testing available online for Austin clients?
Our psychological testing happens in person in Sugar Land. Call 832-876-3232 to plan a testing visit.

Making video therapy work for you
A few small things make online sessions feel more like sitting in a room together. Use headphones so you can hear clearly and speak quietly. Close other apps and notifications before you start. Keep a glass of water and a notepad nearby, and give yourself five minutes after the session before your next call. If you share a home, a parked car or a walk outside on a phone can work too, as long as you can speak freely and you stay in Texas.
