About Sugar Land Counseling Center
A group practice founded in Sugar Land in 2006, built so therapy, testing, medication and hypnosis could live in one place.
Rooted in Sugar Land
Dr. Kiran Mishra grew up in Sugar Land and graduated from Dulles High School. After training at UT Southwestern and serving on the faculty at Stanford University Medical Center, she came home to Sugar Land.
Today the practice is a team of psychologists, licensed professional counselors, a marriage and family therapist, psychological associates, a psychometrician, a psychiatrist, a psychiatric nurse practitioner and a hypnosis practitioner.

Our mission is to understand, enhance and maintain mental health and wellness in a way that is individually tailored to you. In practice, that means listening first, being honest about what will help, and matching you with the clinician who fits the problem in front of you.

Care that talks to itself
When the people treating you work in the same practice, they can actually talk. A counselor who suspects ADHD can walk down the hall to the testing team. Training the next generation
We supervise LPC Associates and school psychology interns, and we have accepted practicum and internship students from the University of Houston, the University of St. Thomas, Houston Christian University and East Texas Baptist University.
