About the credentials you will see
A Licensed Psychologist holds a doctorate and a psychologist license. A Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) provides testing and therapy under Texas psychology rules. A Licensed Psychological Associate with Independent Practice (LPA-IP) is an LPA approved to practice independently. An LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor, and an LPC-S is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor, approved to supervise. An LPC Associate has finished school and is completing supervised hours toward full licensure; their supervisor is listed on their profile.
Training and supervision
Our supervising clinicians oversee LPC Associates, so newer clinicians work with experienced colleagues close at hand.
Working as one team
Because therapy, testing and medication happen in one practice, our clinicians refer to each other and, with your written permission, coordinate your care.
