About Dr. Mehra
Vikram Mehra, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist with nearly three decades of experience supporting clients across inpatient, outpatient, and telehealth programs. At Sugar Land Counseling Center, Dr. Mehra collaborates directly with your therapy team to integrate psychiatric care with counseling services. He emphasizes practical, client-centered approaches to treatment, aligning medication management with therapy goals for depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and other psychiatric conditions.
Dr. Mehra values clarity and communication, ensuring clients and families understand their treatment options while maintaining close coordination with the counseling team. His experience in both traditional and telepsychiatry models allows him to provide consistent, flexible support to our clients.
His role at the practice
Dr. Mehra is the collaborating physician with Dr. Diaz and does not see clients directly. Medication management appointments are with Dr. Richard P. Diaz.
