Houston medication questions

How soon can I be seen?

Often within a week. Call 832-876-3232 for current openings.

Do I need a therapist here too?

No, but many clients find that therapy and medication together work better, and having both in one practice makes coordination simple.

Do you prescribe stimulants?

Our prescribers offer non-stimulant psychiatric medications.

What if a medication causes side effects?

Tell your prescriber. Follow-up visits are the place to adjust a dose or try a different option, and you can message the office between visits through the client portal or by calling 832-876-3232.

Preparing for your first visit

Make a list of every medication and supplement you take, with doses, and any psychiatric medications you have tried before and how they went. Note your main symptoms, when they started and what makes them better or worse. If you have recent lab work or records from another provider, have them handy. Find a private place with a reliable connection, and join a few minutes early. Medication management is private pay.

Request a medication consultation

Request a visit with Dr. Diaz in the client portal, or call 832-876-3232.
