Therapy and Testing for Pearland Families
Pearland sits on the other side of Houston from our office, so most Pearland clients use telehealth for therapy and medication management, and make the drive to Sugar Land for testing.
How Pearland clients usually work with us
Because the trip crosses the south side of the Houston area, Pearland clients rarely come in every week. Instead, therapy happens by secure video from home, the car parked outside work, or a quiet room at a relative's house, and the in-person visits are saved for testing.
That mix lets you choose a clinician for fit rather than for distance.
The drive, when you need it
Most people heading to Sugar Land from Pearland use Beltway 8 west toward US-59/I-69, then go south on US-59 to the Highway 6 exit. Travel time varies a lot with traffic, so for testing days we suggest leaving early and bringing a snack and something to do during breaks.

Pearland questions
Is telehealth as useful as coming in?
For most therapy concerns, yes. Many clients find it easier to stay consistent when there is no drive.
Can my child be tested in one trip?
Testing usually takes one or two longer appointments, plus a feedback session that can often be scheduled separately. Ask when you call.
Do you take insurance for telehealth?
Telehealth sessions use the same insurance rules as office visits for each clinician. Testing is private pay.

Choosing a clinician when distance is not the deciding factor
Because most Pearland clients work with us by video, you can choose based on what matters for the problem in front of you: a clinician's specialty, the ages they see, the language they speak, or the insurance they accept. Find a Clinician lets you filter by all of those at once, plus telehealth. If you are not sure where to start, call or text 832-876-3232. Russel, our practice manager, can suggest two or three clinicians who fit and tell you who has openings this week.
