ADHD Testing for Katy Children, Teens and Adults
Katy students and adults who need an ADHD evaluation, and a written report for school or work, can be seen at our Sugar Land office, often within a week.
When homework becomes a nightly battle
Katy parents often tell us the turning point came in middle or high school, when the workload jumped and a bright student started missing assignments. An ADHD evaluation can show whether attention is the issue, or whether something else, such as anxiety or a learning difference, is driving the struggle.

Katy ADHD questions
Can you test for learning differences at the same time?
Often, yes. Learning and IQ testing can be included when it answers your questions.
Does my teen need to miss school?
Testing blocks are long, so many families choose a day off school or a weekend appointment.
What if it is not ADHD?
The evaluation explains what is going on instead and what may help.
Is testing covered by insurance?
No. Our psychological testing is private pay. Call 832-876-3232 for pricing and to ask about the deposit.
ADHD in teens and adults looks different
Hyperactivity often fades with age while trouble with planning, starting tasks and keeping track of time stays. A teen may look unmotivated or forgetful rather than restless. An adult may be very capable and still feel constantly behind, relying on deadlines and adrenaline to get things done.
An evaluation looks at these adult and teen patterns directly, rather than only the classic picture of a child who cannot sit still.
